Matthew is an enrolled agent with two decades of tax planning, compliance, and advisory experience, much of it at Big Four accounting firms, where he guided clients with wide-reaching financial concerns.
Matthew has a wealth of experience helping private equity firms, portfolio companies, hedge funds, and venture capital firms navigate domestic and international tax challenges. He is also highly skilled at supporting investment management partnerships and corporations with mergers and acquisitions, tax structuring, compliance, Regulation A, due diligence, and other consulting matters.
In addition, Matthew regularly assists startups and guides franchisors and franchisees through the complex tax compliance and accounting requirements of their highly regulated industry.
Prior to founding Evolved, LLC Tax, Matthew worked for Ernst & Young, Deloitte, and PwC in New York City. He received his BBA in Finance and Accounting from Hofstra University and his MBA from Cornell University.
