Muhammad is a certified public accountant with significant experience in federal and state tax compliance for public and private clients, with a particular focus on hedge funds, private equity funds, and law firms.
Muhammad also regularly guides clients through tax planning matters, including fund structuring, the tax treatment of financial instruments, uncertain tax positions, and tax planning for complex business transactions. In addition to assisting clients with U.S. tax matters, Muhammad has extensive experience in international tax compliance, including issues in European and Asian countries such as the UK, France, Singapore, and South Korea.
Prior to joining Evolved, LLC, Muhammad worked for Skadden, one of the world’s largest law firms, and before that, he worked for Deloitte Tax LLP in New York City.
Muhammad received his BBA in Accounting from Baruch College of the City University of New York. He is also an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
