Zaid is a certified public accountant with significant tax compliance and consulting experience in diverse industries, including private equity, software, construction, manufacturing, retail, and financial services.
Zaid’s primary practice areas include federal, state, and local tax compliance for private equity funds and portfolio companies, as well as federal, state, and local tax compliance for “blockers” and closely held corporations, corporate structure, and choice of entity consulting.
Over the years, Zaid has served clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including private equity, software development, construction, manufacturing, retail, and financial services. Zaid has vast experience advising clients on their state and local sales and use tax implications and reviewing partnership and corporate state tax returns in order to identify tax planning opportunities and exposures.
Zaid received his BBA in Accounting from Baruch College. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and an active member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and NYSSCPA (New York State Society of CPAs).
